It’s amazing to me that we don’t need the A/C here where we live now.
Where we used to live, not having air conditioning was definitely not an option.
We had to use the air conditioning almost every day from the time we woke up in the morning because it was always so hot. Not only that, but it stayed hot there from March all the way through October. Honestly, I don’t know a single person who did not have central air conditioning in their homes where we used to live. It was really one of those things that you just took for granted because everybody had it. Now that we have moved, hardly any houses around here have central air conditioning and then. At first I did not understand that, but the fact of the matter is that you just don’t really need it all that much around here. The weather is so much cooler here that central air conditioning is not necessary like it used to be where we used to live. I still tend to use the air conditioning in the middle of the summer, but I really don’t think that I would have to. It’s not a terrible situation here if you don’t have central air conditioning, at least. Back where I used to live, there was no way that I would be able to make it through a whole summer without central air conditioning. The fact that it’s more of a choice here than it is a necessity at this point makes me feel like moving here was a great choice.
