I really love when my girlfriend goes on vacation because then I can turn of the thermostat for a week and have a house that’s more like 75 degrees plus the HVAC system gets a break from constantly running.
This will probably sound very random but my girlfriend loves AC and I really dislike it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice when it’s hot to have a good air conditioner for a little bit. My girlfriend loves to blast the AC even during the middle of winter, and I just don’t understand. We had an HVAC technician come out a few days ago to fix the AC unit and he said that not many people want to have their AC units fixed in the winter. I told him that my girlfriend was obsessed with AC and he found that to be funny. He said that he understand the love of AC and that many people are that way. I like to be outdoors and I never miss AC, my girlfriend on the other hand has to bring a portable AC unit with her everywhere she goes. As I write this my girlfriend is sitting in front of the AC unit and saying that it’s not cold enough. We have a smart thermostat that is almost always set to about 60 degrees. I take really good care of the AC unit because I don’t ever want to see what will happen if the air conditioner stops working. I remember one day when the AC unit had no power and my girlfriend had to leave the house and sit in her car for AC. I am not kidding about how extreme her love for AC is.
