Sadly, it appears that our finances get more and more tight with every passing year. I don’t see a great deal of relief on the horizon as far as better pay actually goes. So, all of us do the best that all of us are able to do. This pandemic hasn’t helped very much at all. Our property budget took yet another hit as our income has fallen due to the economic contraction. I am now working from home in the comfort of our Heating and A/C. My wife is doing the same. However, my bonus and sales structure has been diminished a good amount. This means that we have to do everything we are able to and a bit more to be sure all of us are spending rationally. In our area, Heating and A/C is a pretty substantial deal and it’s lavish. The hot season here is around 7 months a year. But, all of us get blasted with the heating in the warm season. That means all of us have to have wonderful Heating and A/C equipment to get through the summer time with some semblance of comfort. This year, all of us are having to push ourselves a bit more to be positive that all of us are getting the most value from our Heating and A/C dollar. That has meant the property is a bit warmer while in the day than it ever has been. The people I was with and I have made the choice to keep a close eye on the temperature control component since all of us are now working from home. The people I was with and I let the temps in the property rise as it gets hotter outside. There honestly is no way to get around using the Heating and A/C equipment because it is absolutely needed for getting by while in the hot season. However, all of us are supplementing the cool feeling with fans. Less Heating and A/C and more fans essentially means more money in our pocket.
