Love the radiators… except for all the toe stubs

The only problem? I am very good at locating the radiators with my small toes

A few years ago when my husband and I were looking at houses we definitely had some priorities in mind. We were not going to settle for a tiny yard or a house with extremely thin walls. We were tired of hearing our neighbors and feeling like we were exposed to the entire neighborhood. We also wanted to make sure there was enough storage space in the house so that our belongings could be neatly stored away. Last week, we knew that indoor air temperature control was going to be a massive part of our continued comfort wherever we lived. This is why we made sure that we had a long-lasting, reliable heating and cooling system before we ever moved into the house. When we found an old home that was outfitted with a large boiler system we knew that we had struck gold. Boiler systems are nearly impossible to break as long as you give them proper maintenance with a professional heating, cooling, and air quality control appointment. We had individual radiators positioned in each room which conducted the heat that passed from the boiler system into the indoor air. I can tell you, the boiler system was effective and the radiators were actually quite beautiful to look at. The only problem? I am very good at locating the radiators with my small toes. Every morning when I walk through the house I am prone to bashing my feets against the heating implements in each room. At least my toes are nice and warm when they collide with the sturdy metal.
