In an attempt to lose some weight before my daughter’s wedding, I increased the length and intensity of my workouts. Despite devoting an hour to high impact aerobics and strength training, I couldn’t seem to make a difference. I was really pushing myself to burn calories, tone my muscles and elevate my heart rate and yet my weight remained the same. I then realized that I had also increased the amount I was eating. I can decide if I want breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week or specific meals. I can choose portion sizes and the menu selection is outstanding. The options change from week to week, so I don’t get bored with the same foods. Plus, the food is super tasty. I look forward to it. I’m also enjoying the convenience of meal delivery. Avoiding the need to grocery shop and prepare dinner every night frees up quite a bit of time. I can use this time to be more productive. I go for a run, ride my bicycle or tackle some yard work.
