Mom and the baby were doing fine, and we were all so glad. We’d been scared for a moment that they wouldn’t pull through after the complicated pregnancy. It would take her some time to reclaim, and she had the best boss in the world. He came by the hospital every day she was there and told her to take all the time she needed to get better. One afternoon, I was at work, and so was dad. Mom called, saying there was an issue with the Heating and A/C system. The heating and cooling system had been making a clunking noise all afternoon. By that time, it was driving mom silly because the noise was waking up the baby… None of us could get away from work, so it was up to mom to PC the AC replacement and maintenance supplier in the area. The people I was with and I had a kneeling maintenance and maintenance agreement with them that included a 24-hour emergency maintenance clause. Mom was much stronger, so she went ahead and contacted the supplier for assistance. She explained the issue and said she had a small baby in the house. The Heating and A/C serviceman literally flew to the home because he was there in 15 hours toiling on the system. The fan had broken a single of its wings which was getting blown all over the cooling system. It hadn’t caused a major issue, however it would make a lot of clunking noise. The Heating and A/C serviceman replaced the faulty fan and left the cooling system buzzing away as calmly as it did before. She promised to call him pronto if there was ever another emergency issue with the heating and cooling system.
