I love our dad, however when he gets sick, he is just a important seasoned baby! This is especially true in the summertime when he gets one of those terrible Summer colds! Having a chilly in the Summer is typically the worst, in our opinion! I do not care for the way that the warm air outside seems to make you believe even more feverish and yucky than you already did in the first place, anyway, our dad just about typically gets a chilly in the summer.
I don’t believe if it’s some sort of pollen that starts him out with a sinus infection or something, however at least once while in the Summer he ends up being irritated with a terrible cold.
The bad thing about this, other than him being sick, of course, is that our dad hates running the air conditioner when he’s sick. This drives our mom and the rest of our siblings crazy, but my dad complains always about how the central air conditioner blowing through the air conditioning vents makes him believe chilly and even worse than he already did. He walks around the home with a blanket over his head, whining and trying to stay far away from the air conditioning vents. He is notorious for turning the central air conditioner all the way off whenever he is sick or feeling bad. It makes us all crazy, because it’s typically while in the hottest area of the summer, it seems like. He typically seems to get sick and turn off the air conditioning when the rest of us want to have it running because it’s so warm outside. I can’t sit being separate from the air conditioning at any point while in the summer, however if he has a cold, our dad turns it right back off every option that he gets.
