He really enjoys working in heating and cooling technology and even though he works a lot, I don’t really mind it all that much
My husband Ben is an HVAC technician and he has been for the past 16 years now. He was working as an HVAC technician when we first met fifteen years ago. Of course, back then, he had just begun working for the little HVAC company that he is still with today. Back then it was just a little three man operation and they didn’t have very many clients at all. But between Ben and the two other guys who owned the place, they worked really hard to make sure that they did great quality work and that they built up their clientele from the ground up. Now, all of these years later, they are one of the biggest HVAC companies on this side of the state. They are really great at what they do and they have quite a waiting list for both HVAC installations and for heating and cooling maintenance services. Ben is always working and he is able to get as much overtime as he ever wants to have. Of course, he makes a lot of money now as one of the partners in the HVAC company, but he says that most of the time it doesn’t even feel like work to him. He really enjoys working in heating and cooling technology and even though he works a lot, I don’t really mind it all that much. Working late doesn’t really put him in a bad mood the way that it might affect a lot of people. He just loves his job that much, and I guess I don’t blame him.
