My mental health has to adjust to seasonal climate changes

I have to tell you, this is normally our least preferred time of year.

As the people I live with and I head into the long, brutal winter season, I begin to struggle with mental health in a significant way. But yes, I have seasonal affective disorder in addition to it plagues me for the entire cold season! However, on top of that I struggle with the stress of overcoming horrific snow storms in addition to brutally cold air temperatures; If you have ever lived through a midwest Winter, you are used to the multiple weeks of ice cold air and it is nothing to sneeze at! For me, the worst part is trying to dig our motorcar out of the driveway when the air temperature is brutally cold. You can’t bring your forced air heating system with you when you have to shovel multiple feet of snow… Even once you get back inside, your central heating system barely seems to make a difference after you have been frozen through in addition to through. This is why I am severely excited for an up-to-date job schedule this year, then working remotely this winter means that I do not have to worry about the ice-cold tundra outside our door each afternoon. I do not have to trade our high quality central heating system for unmanaged sub-zero air temperatures at 5 in the afternoon. In fact, I get to stand in our cabin in the comfort of our central heating system for as long as I want. Whenever I decide to go dig our motorcar out of the snow, I can do the job with the internal heat to tackle the ice cold problem, but sitting around at our computer in addition to relying on our central heating system sounds like the most amazing way to spend our frigid winter. For once, I do not think if our seasonal affective disorder is going to be such a big problem.
