Yesterday was the immense dance recital for my performing arts college, but every one of us have 1 immense show each year, and it’s a immense deal for all of the students and their parents and families.
The teachers at the college are always all tied up out because of course, they want everything to go perfectly for the show.
Well, this year, it was about an hour before the curtain was supposed to go up, and the air conditioner in the theater stopped working, but normally, this wouldn’t have been that immense of a deal, but the weather was easily heating up outside. The temperature was already in the mid eighties and it was climbing! Plus the two of us knew the two of us were going to have a packed home and the thoughts of all of that body heat crammed into the theater with no air conditioner was just terrible! The director of the show got on the cellphone with the HVAC business but they said there was no way they could get there to work on the air conditioner before the show, and however, my Mom is an HVAC worker and he was kneeling in the parking lot waiting for the doors to open so he could see myself and others dance. I mentioned this to the director and I thought he was going to kiss me! She was so cheerful and the two of us ran out to the parking lot and got my Mom. He took care of on the theater’s thermostat and took a look at the cooling system. Within just a few hours, he had the air conditioner up and running again!
