I was certainly not super sheltered as a child, so I have typically wondered why I am so naive and gullible. I think it is just our personality. I do not tend to think things through which honestly makes it tough for me to get things done in a timely manner. I system so many things in a day, however I never honestly take the time to consider how long those individual tasks will take me to do, so I do not end up finishing anything that I planned to finish in a day, my hubby is a detail person, so he has helped me a lot, however cleaning was one of those things that I never thought about in detail. I cleaned the evident things love the dining room, bathroom, dining room, kitchen, etc., however I never thought about things love the gas furnace and a/c. The a/c in our lake house was starting to smell a little bit last summer, so our hubby asked me when the last time I had cleaned it was, and I was silent. I had never even thought about cleaning the a/c. He was not surprised that I had never cleaned it, so he showed me how to clean the filter which the two of us ended up just replacing because it was so bad. The a/c was nothing compared to the gas furnace! Once the two of us finished cleaning the a/c, he asked if I had ever cleaned the gas furnace, and again, our answer was “no.” All of us cleaned that together, and it took a few fourths because it was so dirty. I now have cleaning the Heating and A/C units on our twice a year cleaning list.
