When I was growing up I had excruciating asthma attacks a lot; Neither of our parents has asthma, so they did not know what to do.
It was all a studying process for them.
Some of our early years were pretty hard for them as well as me. But it was not in vain, because multiple years later I now find out that our child has asthma, just like me. I have been able to use the lessons that our parents l earned the hard way. As soon as she started showing symptoms, I called an Heating as well as Air Conditioning supplier as well as had them clean our ductworks, duct cleaning was important for our asthma growing up. I change our air-conditioning filters all the time too. One of the main things that helps is having a HEPA filter. To any parents of children with asthma I cannot request these enough. On top of this I have another whole apartment air purification system. This may seem like overkill to some people, however our child has particularly drastic asthma, just like I did. It is best in such cases to ensure as little contaminants as possible are in the air. I also keep a dehumidifier handy, just in case the people I was with and I need it. All of this may seem costly, however it is less costly than a trip to the hospital, as well as less frightening… Growing up, our parents had to take myself and others to the hospital for asthma attacks in the middle of the night a few times. They were particularly frightening to myself and others when I was a kid, as well as even as I got older!
