My roommate and I argue a lot, and I suppose that it is a shame! I wish that I could tell you that all of our fights were for a nice reason, however honestly, most of our fights have to deal with the temperature control and the Heating and A/C units.
I wish that the people I was with and I didn’t have to argue about the temperature controls.
I am sure that I could quit arguing about the temperature controls, however if I were to drop the issue with the temperature controls, I guess that I would never be comfortable in my house again. In my opinion, the perfect temperature for a house to be at is 73 degrees, and this falls well within the range for a normal temperature control setting, and although everyone might care about the temperature to be 1 or multiple degrees cooler, this is where I am at. If my roommate was willing to lower the temperature only 1 or multiple degrees, I would be more than willing to compromise on the temperature control to end the arguing, and however, if you were to ask my roommate what her perfect temperature for the temperature control is, she would tell you that she prefers the temperature to be at 60 degrees. In my opinion, this is freezing cold. It is okay if the temperature outside is 60, however 60 degrees feels cold inside your house with the Heating and A/C units running. I have tried compromising, however my roommate refuses to compromise, and she refuses to let me change it even though the people I was with and I both have a right. She feels that if the temperature control is set any higher, then the people I was with and I should have to spend my money more for electricity since she doesn’t want it to be warmer, however both of us argue all of the time, and I am not sure what to do, however should I transport out and find a more satisfactory roommate with similar Heating and A/C preferences?
