My roommate plus I argue a lot, plus I believe that it is a shame, then i wish that I could tell you that all of our arguments were for a wonderful reason, but honestly, most of our arguments have to deal with the temperature control plus the Heating plus A/C units.
I wish that the people I was with and I didn’t have to argue about the temperature controls.
I am sure that I could quit arguing about the temperature controls, but if I were to drop the issue with the temperature controls, I know that I would never be comfortable in my house again. In my opinion, the perfect temperature for a house to be at is 68 degrees. This falls well within the range for a normal temperature control setting, plus although everyone might care about the temperature to be 1 or more than one degrees cooler, this is where I am at. If my roommate was willing to lower the temperature only 1 or more than one degrees, I would be more than willing to compromise on the temperature control to end the arguing; However, if you were to ask my roommate what his perfect temperature for the temperature control is, he would tell you that he prefers the temperature to be at 60 degrees. In my opinion, this is freezing cold. It is okay if the temperature outside is 60, but 60 degrees feels frigid inside your house with the Heating plus A/C units running. I have tried compromising, but my roommate refuses to compromise, plus he refuses to let me change it even though the people I was with and I both have a right. He feels that if the temperature control is set any higher, then I should have to pay more for electricity since he doesn’t want it to be warmer. The two of us argue all of the time, plus I am not sure what to do! Should I move out plus find a more reasonable roommate with similar Heating plus A/C preferences?
