My wife and I don’t see eye to eye on whether or not we need a new air conditioner

I love my wife more than anything in this world, but I wish we didn’t have so many disagreements over trivial decisions. I have given up whenever we’re trying to find a place to eat and will always go along with what she wants. But we often disagree over what to watch on television, let alone on the rare instances where we go to the cinema to watch a movie. Even though we love each other dearly, I wonder sometimes how the two of us got attracted to one another at all. We don’t have that much in common, other than the fact that we both love animals, hiking, and much of the same music. But I suppose that’s where our common interests end. I can say that we definitely don’t see eye to eye on our home and the appliances we have inside. We kept disagreeing on whether or not we needed a new clothes dryer, but the sounds the machine was making were getting louder and more prevalent as time went on. I was right that it was ready to break, and it happened while my wife was trying to dry a loud with some of her best clothing. Thankfully we have a small clothes line outside, but she wasn’t happy. We’re having the same disagreement but over our central air conditioner instead. It was making bad noises and I knew that losing the air conditioner during the summer would result in a two-week wait with no air cooling amid the hottest weather of the year. My wife insisted we wait, and sadly my forecast came true. We spent several weeks with no air conditioning; but worst of all, I don’t think my wife has learned from her mistakes, nor do I think she ever will.
