The service plan includes bi-annual checkups on the heating and air conditioning system as well as free troubleshooting calls. If my wife and I have any problem at all, we can contact the HVAC company for free. We don’t hesitate to call either. When we heard a strange noise coming from the ductwork in the bedroom, I got on the phone right away to call the professional. I might not have been so quick to contact them if I didn’t have the service plan. That noise in the ductwork turned out to be mice. My wife and I had to contact an exterminator to handle the problem before the HVAC technician could seal and repair all of the damage from the mice. The exterminator told us that we caught the problem quickly. If we had waited another month or two, we probably would have had a much larger infestation on our hands. Since the exterminator has been out to the house, I haven’t heard anything else coming from the ductwork. We haven’t had any issues with the heating or air conditioning system either.
