My wife and her cold feet are a constant source of irritation for me at our house! We don’t fight about very much at all, but when she gets into bed at night and sticks her freezing cold feet on me, it makes me so mad! She complains that her feet are never warm enough in our house, even though i put in a wood burning fireplace for her for that very purpose.
She’s supposed to go and sit by the fireplace while she’s reading before bed.
That’s because she knows that she should warm her feet up before she gets into bed with me. Otherwise, I scream like a little girl and nearly jump out of my skin. I’ve tried all different kinds of electric space heaters and even a couple of different furnace systems, but nothing really seems to help with her freezing cold feet. It drives me crazy. This past winter, it was really bad and she would stick her feet on me every chance she got. That’s why this spring, I decided that I was going to do a major remodel in our house. Instead of trying a different kind of forced air heating system, I decided that I was going to try something totally different. I called our local HVAC company and asked them to come and give us an estimate on getting radiant heated flooring installed in the kitchen and bathrooms in our house. I’m even thinking about getting the radiant heated flooring installed in our master bedroom, too. That way, her feet won’t be freezing cold when she gets into bed at night.
