Name that Tune with an air conditioner

The basic premise of the classic TV game show “Name that Tune” is for the contestant to identify any song by its title before any opponent does.

One version has the contestants placing a wager as to how few notes it will take for them to identify the tune. Another form of the contest is the “Golden Medley Review” where contestants have 30 seconds to name numerous tunes that play in rapid succession. Game shows aside, the ability to think sounds quickly is 1 of our basic survival skills. Our caveman ancestors l acquired to identify noises made by hyenas and tigers out looking for food. Children in the 1960s were taught to take cover when warning sirens signaled an impending nuclear assault. All drivers believe that when their automobile starts to make a funny noise, it’s time to see the mechanic. All of us don’t worry about man-eating beasts in our homes, but homeowners should keep their ears open for sounds coming from their central Heating and A/C units. Banging noises may indicate a problem with an AC compressor. If it buzzes similar to a swarm of bees, then you may have an electrical problem. Any clicking or hissing noises can come from any number of sources. If it whistles or emits a screaming sound, even the most tone-deaf homeowner knows that trouble is brewing with a possible refrigerant leakage; When your Heating and A/C plan begins to make any unfamiliar noise, the last thing to do is try to play the game “Name that Tune” because there are no prizes to be awarded. Turn the plan off and call in your Heating and A/C provider who will be able to send out a qualified Heating and A/C worker who will be able to identify the “song” your Heating and A/C plan is playing in one note.
