Last night I was watching a couple of home shows on TV.
I don’t normally watch TV at night, but it was a tough day at work and I really just wanted to relax.
The TV show I was watching was about a couple looking to buy a house that had radiant flooring. I had never heard of radiant flooring, but after watching this show I am convinced that I need it. The idea of radiant flooring is that you can run pipes underneath underneath the floor so that the warm runs through them. The warm water will then heat your home from the ground up. I think this heating method is pretty expensive, but in the end I am sure that it pays for itself because of the cost savings on your energy bill each month. I was really curious about how much it would cost to have the radiant flooring installed. So, I called a local HVAC company to see if they could give me a quote over the phone. I was surprised when the HVAC tech on the phone told me the actual amount of money it would cost to have the radiant flooring installed. I am going to have to save up a ton of money if I want to ever have this kind of heating method in my house. However, I really do want this to be a goal of mine to save up for and I think that once I have the radiant flooring in my house I will be so happy that I did.
