For years I had to listen to my wife grumble about the freezing floor tiles all the time.
It was annoying to me because I already knew how freezing they were and I didn’t like to think about it. I was going to go mad if I had to hear again about her horrible experience feeling that ice-cold jolt when getting out of the shower. I thought maybe we could put a space heater in there, but then it hit me. There were advancements in HVAC technology and one of those advancements is radiant heated floors. I couldn’t believe I never thought about it before, radiant heated floors would put an end to this nonsense. So I ended up calling the HVAC company and I talked to them about the costs of installing radiant heated floors. It was very expensive, I’m not going to lie and so I proceeded to get an accurate estimate. When I finally had the radiant heated floors installed, it changed so many things in my home. We feel so much happier and more comfortable now. The air quality has also improved. It seems to be the case because there is no dust and debris blowing from the ductwork when we are using our radiant heated floors. I wish we had the same style cooling system, but unfortunately we will have to continue to use the ductwork for our cooling system. I think I will just have to call to have the ductwork cleaned so we’re not having a coughing fit all the time. I’m so much happier now though with our excellent heating system and not having to hear my wife complain about the floors all the time.
