One of the things on our basket list was to go first class on an aircraft.
Recently I had the option to take that trip.
I was on our way apartment from going to see our daughter. I bought the ticket, never realizing how nice it was going to be. In the past, I had regularly flown economy and it was overcrowded and had the worst air quality. I had our Dad with myself and others on a single of the trips and she was regularly cold. She started out cold and they were able to supply her a blanket. Then she got much warmer. As the heating continued to rise in temperature, our Dad became faint. She thought she was going to be sick and all I could know to do was to turn the air vent off. I tried to turn the air vent off, but that was impossible. I called the flight attendant and they tried to adjust the air vent, however she was not able to repair it either. She tried to knob that would change the heating to , and the two of us had satisfaction. Unfortunately, they couldn’t adjust the , either. The air blowing on her was now full AC, and she went back to using the blanket. Luckily, it was only a many hour flight, and she had more than two blankets to keep her warm. She brought the blankets apartment with her so she would regularly have a reminder of that plane ride. Too much A/C and too much heating, was not what the two of us paid for. I had to admit that it was still better than a twelve hour automobile ride..
