One of the things on my bucket list was to go first class on an aircraft.
Recently I had the opportunity to take that trip.
I was on my way home from going to see my son. I bought the ticket, never realizing how nice it was going to be. In the past, I had always flown economy & it was overcrowded & had the worst air quality. I had my mom with me on one of the trips & he was always cold. She started out chilly & they were able to provide his a blanket. Then he got much warmer. As the heating continued to rise in temperature, my mom became faint. She thought he was going to be sick & all I could guess to do was to turn the air vent off. I tried to turn the air vent off, however that was impossible. I called the flight attendant & they tried to adjust the air vent, but he was not able to service it either. He tried to knob that would change the heating to air conditioning, & all of us had satisfaction. Unfortunately, they couldn’t adjust the air conditioning, either. The air blowing on his was now full AC, & he went back to using the blanket. Luckily, it was only a more than one hour flight, & he had 3 blankets to keep his warm. She brought the blankets home with his so he would always have a reminder of that plane ride. Too much AC & too much heating, was not what all of us paid for. I had to admit that it was still better than a twelve hour car ride..
