I often try and remember to get my air conditioning machine worked on.
- It’s never a fantastic thing to neglect your a/c machine, especially when the weather is heating up and summertime is well on the way.
It’s one of those things that can legitimately sneak up on you if you’re not careful, that’s for sure. That’s what happened to me a few weeks ago. It was Spring and the weather was warming up and it was truly lovely outside. The temperatures were bringing out the birds and the leaves on the trees and I was totally enjoying it! I never once thought about my central air conditioning machine and how it had been standing in the basement through the nippy season. I never thought about how the a/c machine could be covered in dust and debris from being in the dark, dusty basement. In other words, I was entirely neglectful of my a/c machine over the Winter season and I had to pay for it before the warm season started! When the temperatures legitimately started rising to the point where it was becoming uncomfortably hot outside, I went to turn the temperature control unit down and nothing happened. I clicked the air conditioning machine control button numerous times, however no a/c started blowing through the HVAC vents. That’s when I quickly realized that I had not given one thought to our a/c machine for weeks! I wasn’t legitimately sure what to do, and so I ended up calling my local HVAC machine dealer to get a bid from them. I hope the a/c machine maintenance won’t cost too much.
