Oh, the things I do for my pets

My bearded dragon has a passion for hanging out in our screened in porch.

Each morning during the summer season I put in out there for an hour or 2 so that he can soak up the sun, and he cannot stay out too long because it can be too hot, and there definitely is no way for him to cool down outside and I don’t want him to get sick or get lost, and in the Winter season, it is simply too cold for him to be outside.

He prefers running and playing in the big porch area though so I suppose bad when I have to put him back in his little home. I pray that there was some possibility to have some temperature control in the screened in porch! Darby is so close to the ground that I think some sort of underfloor heating and cooling system would job well. I have heard that there are pipes that can be placed directly under the flooring and they transport boiling water through them if you want heat, cold water goes through them if you want to be cool, with the temperature set to 76 degrees year round, my buddy could live outside all year. It would not matter that much of the temperature controlled air goes out of all of the screens because the floor would still stay good enough for my little buddy. I imagine that something similar to this would be entirely lavish though, but maybe not. I would only have to install underfloor heating and cooling in about 160 square feet. I absolutely want to look into it for my little dude.
