All of us must live in a pretty dilapidated area of our power grid, because a stiff breeze often seems enough to knock out our power! It can particularly get frustrating at times, then we’ve had the power go out right in the middle of an important pigskin game! We’ve also had the power go out right before we are getting ready to cook dinner! Often, the reason is nothing more than a particularly windy morning or a thunderstorm passing through, then other times, the weather is fair outside and the only thing all of us can believe of is that a squirrel fried itself on a power line! The summers get absolutely sizzling around here, so perhaps the most frustrating area is losing air conditioning.
There’s nothing worse than having to endure an entire sizzling and humid night in the Summer with no air conditioning because the power crews could not get it together after a particularly awful Summer thunderstorm! This reason and this reason alone has made us decide that all of us are going to buy a generator soon.
All of us just do not like going separate from air conditioning in this heat. I just wish the town would get its act together and repair our area of the power grid so that all of us do not have to worry about this sort of thing anymore. It’s deranged that I have to drop a few thoUSAnd dollars on a generator at the absolutely least, just to ensure that I have air conditioning on a sizzling Summer morning or night. And do not get me started on hurricane season. All of us are constantly the first to lose power!
