When I used to go to school, I would get off before our dad got off of work, & since he was the a single who drove myself and others home, I would have to wait a couple of hours before he got off work! Every one of us lived too far away for myself and others to be able to take a bus, so I had to wait for him! My father works as a Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional, which means he goes to different houses to repair people’s s & heaters, depending on how far away he was, he could take anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours! Periodically, if he got off early, he would option myself and others up from school early & we would both go home! For the most part, it was just myself and others alone at the school, waiting for him to option myself and others up. To pass the time, I would read about a lot of different subjects. I had a ton of books, & our backpack felt like I was carrying a stone block with me. Well a single morning, I grabbed what I thought was a single of our books, but it turned out to be a single of our dad’s Heating, Ventilation & A/C books. I already knew he wasn’t going to be picking myself and others up for awhile, so I decided to just read the book. A lot of it was confusing, but the heating & cooling book had numerous illustrations & diagrams pointing out the different parts of an a/c unit, but by the time our father’s Heating, Ventilation & A/C van came to option myself and others up, I had a easily basic understanding of how oil gas furnaces & cooling systems work.
