Pet hair galore in my home

I love animals.

Animals of all shapes and sizes, especially the furry kind.

I live and breathe them. Unfortunately that last part is quite literal. Due to having 3 dogs, 4 cats and 2 rabbits, there is fur everywhere! A lot of the fur comes from my longhaired dogs and cats, and sometimes I can literally see hair chunks floating through the air. It was incredibly gross, but it seems like no matter how much sweeping I do, the hair just comes back a few hours later. I also take my dogs to the groomer as often as possible, to reduce shedding, but nothing seems to work. The reason why the fur didn’t seem to go away is probably because I was missing a key thing. I constantly have to cycle through HEPA air filters, because of all of the fur. And it was through getting rid of all of the fur covered A/C filters that I realized why I might still have fur problems. I went and took a look at the A/C vents, and sure enough, there was hair completely covering the vents. That means all of that fur was stuck in my ductwork, and being cycled around my entire house. That would explain why more fur would reappear after only an hour or so after I cleaned. I called a professional A/C technician, and explained my problem. They suggested I get my ductwork cleaned, and that sounded like a great idea. The A/C worker was out a few days later, and although it took a few hours, finally the ductwork was cleaned. Hopefully this will fix all fur issues that I was having.
