Providing healthy meals for family

My husband and I both work full-time jobs that are extremely demanding and require quite a bit of overtime.

We have three boys who are all very involved in ice hockey.

Between our job responsibilities, hockey practices, games and tournaments on weekends, we are rarely at home. I have trouble making time to handle day-to-day needs such as grocery shopping, laundry, mowing the lawn and basic cleaning. I realized that we were eating most of our meals out of a bag. It was easy and quick to pick up fast food on our way home in the evening. We’d often grab drive-thru burgers, a bucket of chicken, pizza or subs. This type of food has very little nutritional value and tons of fat and empty calories. My oldest son was having trouble with acne. My husband complained of digestive issues and I was struggling with weight gain. I knew I needed to improve our diet but wasn’t sure how to go about it. I don’t have time to prepare healthy meals on top of our hectic lives. When I complained to another mother at the ice rink, she told me about a meal delivery service in our local area. I checked into it and was super impressed by the many options. The meal service offers a diverse menu to suit every taste and it continually changes. The items are all wonderfully nutritious and tasty. I have the choice of having the meals delivered directly to our door or picking them up on our way home. All I need to do is pop everything in the oven for a few minutes, and we enjoy an enjoyable and healthy dinner.
