I have even had my kids ask me say, “why would I waste the A/C when I am using the fireplace at the same time?” They guess it’s basically the same as using a gas heating system plus air conditioning at the same time, which doesn’t make any sense to them
One of the greatest feelings in the world to me is getting lost in a great book… I have a nice fireplace that I love to get going when I read from my books. I have an extremely comfortable chair and I don’t let anybody watch television or play video games in my room with the fireplace because I prefer nothing but peaceful quiet when I am studying. It feels superb being able to escape from the worries of life for a while. I can be gone for hours when studying my books, the fireplace always keeps me nice plus comfortable plus the crackling of the flames on the wood are extremely relaxing! Sometimes, on the days when it is too sizzling to use the fireplace, I will turn on the cooling system a little bit just so that I can still go on using my fireplace! I suppose that seems ridiculous to most, although I entirely do love my fireplace that much. While it might be actually similar to that, to me it’s not really the same. To me it allows me to love the comforting feeling of the fireplace, which I don’t necessarily get from the gas heating system! Perhaps 1 day when they get older, they will have a nice fireplace of their own and they will do the same thing that I do.
