Reading my books in front of my cozy fireplace is nice

One of the greatest feelings in the world to me is getting lost in an enjoyable book.

I have a nice fireplace that I love to get going when I get lost in our books.

I have an unquestionably comfortable chair as well. I don’t let anybody play games in our room with the fireplace because I love nothing but peace when I am reading. It feels fantastic being able to escape from the worries of life for awhile. I can be gone for hours when reading books and the fireplace always keeps me nice and comfortable plus the crackling of the flames and the wood are unquestionably relaxing. Periodically, on the afternoons when it is too sizzling to use the fireplace, I will entirely turn on the A/C a little bit just so that I can still use our fireplace! I believe that might be rather ridiculous. I have even had our kids ask me questions such as: why would I waste the air conditioning system when I am using the fireplace at the same time? They assume it’s basically the same as using an oil furnace plus air conditioning system at the same time; which doesn’t make any sense to them, and while it might be a little bit similar to that, to me it’s not the same. To me it allows me the comforting feeling of the fireplace, which I don’t necessarily get from the oil furnace. Perhaps when they get older plus they have a nice fireplace of their own, they try to explain to their kids why they run the A/C and the fireplace at the same time too. .
