Though my divorce was nothing short of terrible, now that some time has passed I can see how it was all for the best… My wife and I had never been rightly suited for one another, and our ending up together is something that never should have happened… After a few years together, we decided to pull the plug on it, and things became litigious and ugly for a while. However now I have a new life in a new place, distant and far away.Overall I am much happier than I have been in years. At first I moved into a cottage with no Heating & A/C system because it was all that I could afford. After surviving my first Winter here alone, relying just on myself for shelter, food, and heating, I believe I will let my cottage stay the way it is. The cottage has a small wood burning stove in the main room, which is the only source of heating for the place. It is up to me to cut wood and gather kindling every single afternoon to keep that heating alive, for there is no one here to help out. I despised the wood burning furnace at first. But having to cut so much wood has gotten me into great shape as well as increased my work ethic. I will have to wait and see how terrible the warm seasons are here. I suppose if I can survive a Winter with no heating I can survive a warm season with no cooling… Let’s just see what happens!
