Roommate doesn’t love the air quality

Pretty sure this doesn’t count as news… living with people sucks. I guess every one of us all swallow that it is so hard to find people who can live in one peaceful residence together separate from a major issue. Multiple opinions in one home is actually real, and it can cause a lot of extra complications in life. I guess this is most evident when you start considering your bills and how the costs will be shared. For instance, have you ever tried to talk about the energy bill with your roommate? To be Specific, how the heating, cooling, under quality control device that you are using in your place needs to be carefully managed to keep the energy bill in check? This is something that should be discussed with your roommate before you ever accidentally sacrifice air quality due to living together, but clearly, if you have a central indoor air temperature control idea this gets much more difficult. You only have one choice for indoor temperature and quality with a crucially performing Heating plus A/C system. As I’ve found, vastly differing opinions about the climate control machine settings, heating, cooling, and air quality will often cause a lot of extra discomfort in the house. If people certainly don’t love keeping up with the device to keep up with our air quality, then you get heating and cooling device breakdowns and high energy bills. I knew about all of this getting into our most recent roommate situation. But I didn’t realize that they would straight up refuse to chip in for air filter swings and professional Heating plus A/C appointments because he claims that “air quality doesn’t matter.” As someone with severe flu symptoms… I strongly disagree. And now, every one of us have crazy Heating plus A/C bills every month with awful air quality. Only 9 months until the lease is over.
