Saving money on my a/c

I’m going to change out my air filters and make sure that all of my vents and air ducts are clear and free of dust and all other bad things

I’ve made the choice that this year is my year! I’m going to be much more frugal with my spending this year and I’m starting with the money that I spend on my heating and cooling fees. I tend to set my control device way too low in the summer, since I’m the type of person who really enjoys to have it entirely frigid inside when I’m sleeping, however but this year, I’m not going to turn the control device down very low at all. I’m resolving to keep my air conditioner set around 78 degrees this summer season. I assume that’s a nice temperature and so no matter how hot I get, I’m going to keep the a/c at that level. I did a little bit of online research too and I have been able to figure out some other ways to help keep the cooling costs down over the summer. I’m going to change out my air filters and make sure that all of my vents and air ducts are clear and free of dust and all other bad things. I also found out that you’re not supposed to location appliances someplace near your control device unit! That’s because particular appliances deliver off heat and they can make your control device switch the air conditioner on more often during the day than it should! I’m planning to traninterest my wine refrigerator out of the hallway due to the fact that it’s right underneath the control system. Besides that, I’m going to seal some cracks around the windows and doors in my house, and I’m going to go ahead and invest in some window darkening shades to keep the sun from heating up the condo in the late morning, then with most of these energy savings tips at my disposal, I will hopefully end up with lower air conditioner bills this very year!
