I could tell by the wind howling outside, and the grey clouds that a storm was coming in. I thought it was originally going to be a thunderstorm, but with how cold the weather was, I feared that it could turn to hail. I turned the weather station on when I got home, and I was really glad that I did! As the weatherman predicted a blizzard within the next hour! I actually still had my air conditioning system on, and I instantly went and turned it off and then turned my furnace on. I turned my heating system on all the way, and prepared hot chocolate. I might as well make the best of the freezing weather. After I had my hot chocolate, I wrapped myself tight in a lot of heated blankets, and then sat next to my heating unit. I watched as the storm grew and howled outside, whipping trees around and turning everything outside pure white. It eventually got to the point where I could no longer see anything outside but white, so then I turned my attention to my TV. I’m really glad now that I had a HVAC professional come and do HVAC maintenance, as I hadn’t checked on my heating or cooling system in years. Now, I can sit back and relax next to my heater and TV and I can stay warm all night long. The blizzard continued to rage on well into the next day, and work was cancelled. I could barely tell how cold it was outside, thanks to how well my heating device was doing. After a couple of days, the blizzard stopped and I was able to resume life as normal.
