I’m particularly starting to wish that my son’s high school football games were televised.
Don’t get me wrong, I love getting a front row seat to see my boy in action.
It’s just that this early fall weather isn’t fall-like at all! Summer is bitterly still clutching our town, and it is hot and humid on the Wednesday afternoons that I watch my child play football. I would just love to be able to watch the exciting game and support my child while under some sort of air conditioning! Although my favorite athletic interest is football and I’m easily proud of my son, I kind of wish that he took up basketball instead! At least then, I would be coming to watch him in the winter, and my associate and I would be inside of a gymnasium where the temperature could be regulated. Instead, here I sit, daydreaming about air conditioning as I sweat and swat the mosquitoes away. This would not be such a strenuous issue to deal with if my associate and I lived in a village that easily had official fall weather! At least I know that by the time I get home I will be able to cherish the cooling sensation that I’ve come to rely on from my cooling system! I’m willing to spend whatever is necessary on an electric bill to crank that air conditioning as low as I reasonably can! Anyway, I definitely hope that my child and the rest of his high school team will be able to wrap this game up quickly so that we can head home to the air conditioning!
