Taking the portable A/C unit camping was a great idea

My little brother works for an HVAC company.

They often have contests throughout the month to see who can have the highest sales numbers.

My brother has never won a single time in three years, until last month. He had the highest number of sales three weeks in a row, and he won a portable AC unit. The portable AC unit is pretty cool. The machine is 3 ft tall and has three separate functions. You can use the fan by itself, or you can run the AC unit on high, medium, or low. There is also an additional setting so you can set an actual temperature. When my brother and I went camping this past weekend, he decided to bring the portable AC unit. At first, I thought he was joking. I didn’t think he would really bring the AC unit camping in the woods. We were staying in a campsite with water and electricity, so my brother wanted to try out the power and function of this portable unit. We ran an extension cord all the way from the power pole into our tent. We sealed up all the doors and the windows and turned on the air conditioner. It was 94 degrees outside, but we decided to set the air conditioner to a comfortable 72 degrees. I didn’t think it would work, so we decided to give the machine two whole hours to cool the tent. We went down to the dock and fished for perch, brim, and bluegill. We didn’t have much luck, and we returned to the campsite expecting the same results from the portable AC unit. Much to our surprise, the tent was cold and chilly. The portable AC unit was a great idea.
