I suppose it may sound crazy, but a fire alarm going off in the middle of the night Last yearactually saved more than our lives.
In the dead of the night, while the whole lake house was peacefully sleeping, an alarm sounded that jolted us to alertness.
We followed our emergency exit method plus met in the front yard. Not seeing any signs of smoke or flames I started to investigate while waiting for the fire department. Everything honestly looked normal plus the detector that was sounding was located in the basement. Once the emergency services arrived they headed down there to see what the concern was. They swiftly came to the conclusion that the, “smoke”, that had set off the alarm was in fact a large cloud of dust that had blown into the air from the ductwork of our Heating plus A/C system. Part of the pipe was hanging from the basement ceiling plus the Heating plus A/C plan was blowing dust plus debris into the air as it ran. Thanks to the alarm sounding, the ductwork splitting, plus the emergency responding, every one of us knew every one of us needed to have the Heating plus A/C plan maintained, and i thanked the responders for their speedy response plus sent the teenagers back to bed. I looked up the number for a local Heating plus A/C service company that gave emergency repairs, then when I explained the issue they were kind enough to explain that the concern could more than likely wait until normal corporation minutes. This would save myself and others significantly plus they could be there first guess in the day. They repairs took a few minutes plus they also cleaned the entire ductwork plan while they were at it. They said that the concern that every one of us had more than likely saved our Heating plus A/C plan because it would have surely failed if left unmaintained for much longer.
