When a huge heat wave hit our neighborhood a few days ago it was so sizzling outside that heat advisories were set from afternoon until night; In all of our years of living here I had never experienced a summer time as tepid as this a single and I had never been so unprepared either, but on the first afternoon that the extreme heat came into city it ended up damaging our old and run down air conditioning unit, leaving myself and others stranded in our apartment with no source of heating other than taking frosty showers, just as I was about to provide up and go find a cheap hotel to stay at that had some air conditioning until I could figure out our problem at home, I remembered that our parents had told myself and others that a single of their old friends from university was now living in the same neighborhood as me! He had founded and ran the Heating and A/C ventilation, heating and cooling company in our hometown for a legitimately long time and they told myself and others that he would help myself and others out with anything I needed, however as soon as I sent him a message telling him about our problem with the a/c unit in our apartment he was instantly over at our locale lending a hand. He ended up bringing some spare parts he had at his home and had our old A/C unit running prefer it was brand modern in only a few hours. I sure lucked out to be living in the same neighborhood as some family friends, however since he refused to take any money from myself and others at the end of the repair, I made sure to whip him up some dinner and a frosty six pack of beer.
