The cake was ruined because of the HVAC drip

My little brother’s twelfth birthday was this past weekend, but my father spoils him to no end, as well as he always gets everything he wants for every holiday.

  • I’m not mad about it although I do suppose it’s slightly unfair that I was told no on the same frequency he gets told “sure, honey whatever you like.” Dad was in the kitchen putting the final touches on my little brother’s cake while he was playing PlayStation in the living room with a bunch of friends.

They had gotten so rowdy at one point that they knocked over an open two liter soda, as well as of course my Dad rushed to clean everything up. When he came back into the kitchen the icing was all messed up as well as splattered across the table. While he was cleaning up the spill, he didn’t notice the A/C vent directly above the counter, dripping large drops of water, melting the vanilla frosting. Dad was in a panic, I felt terrible. The next day when the air conditioner device worker stopped by he said the air filter was completely dirty. Turns out, air filters are vitally important components of our AC devices. Over time, excess debris in the air ducts in our device infiltrated the air HVAC duct. The air filter did its job as well as now needed to be changed. The dirty air filter caused the air conditioner device to freeze up, as well as caused the drip. Changing the air filter resolved the complication, then he told us to remember to change the air filter every single month to avoid any more trouble.
