Cruises are usually a lot of fun and having been on several, I couldn’t wait to cruise with my friends in the Caribbean.
I knew the weather would be hot, but I wasn’t expecting our cabin to be unbearable.
As soon as we boarded the ship and go to our room we thought it was too hot. We figured it was just because the ship wasn’t moving and would eventually cool down. We headed to the buffet for some lunch.We came back in the early evening to get ready for a music show, but the room was still unbelievably hot. It took our breath away and make it so we didn’t want to be in there at all. We called for help and they said they would have someone fix it. We weren’t sure if others were as hot as us or not. We asked around but nobody else was having problems with their air conditioning. Luckily, the cruise has an HVAC technician onboard who knew exactly how to fix the problem. Once the HVAC technician arrived at our room, he inspected our vents and the air unit and started working on it. We finally felt a blast of cold air and knew that our trip was about to get much better. We were so thankful for the HVAC technician and how fast he was able to make the repairs to our cooling unit. During the rest of the cruise, we were able to relax and stay cool even though the weather outside was hot and humid.
