I suppose that some people have dream homes that are something like mansions with all new appliances and no issues in the least.
Well, the dream home for me was nothing like that.
The dream home I wanted was out in the country where I had room to breathe and I couldn’t even see the nearest neighbors. We ended up buying this really nice home in the country where we had plenty of land and you could look in all directions and see nothing but beautiful nature. I would say the hardest part was moving all of our things into this new home as we had to get two trailers because we have so much stuff. But things have been coming along great. We have everything cleaned and sanitized in the house and we have been doing a little bit of renovation work. We have gotten all the rooms carpeted and we even hired a chimney sweep for the fireplace. I can’t tell you how much I love that fireplace and I will be having countless relaxing nights just enjoying the fireplace while relaxing in my rocking chair. Apart from the chimney sweep to handle the fireplace, we also had an HVAC technician tune-up our boiler system and we had a whole home air purifier installed. The air purifier is great because the air quality has improved tremendously in our home. I tell you, the dream home is totally coming along. I just can’t wait until I have everything organized and looking just the way I want it to. I still realize there’s a lot more work to be done in the spring, but it’s all going to be worth it.
