The ease of a smart thermostat

Not only that, but it learns as it goes, so if I step out of the house for some reason, the control device will automatically adjust itself so it doesn’t run the whole time

I am not the brightest chick when it comes to technology. Growing up, I was the only kid I knew who sucked at video games (something that has not changed over the years, by the way), then when smartphones honestly started taking over, I was still using a flip phone. It was just a lot easier for me. I’m not sure what it is, but I just have never had ease in learning how to use a new device, even when no one else had an issue with it. Recently though I found a cool piece of tech that I actually enjoy and can use with ease. It’s a smart control unit, which I fastened to our central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, and it has proven to be both cool and accessible for those of us who aren’t as tech savvy. I only ever used the digital readout style of control device before, which always seemed like a perfectly fine piece of technology in my eyes. I remember as a kid having the control device that was a plastic level on the side that you manually adjusted. This smart control device is next level, though, and makes the digital readout seem pretty primitive in comparison. This control device not only sets the indoor temperatures, but it takes constant studyings of the air quality. Not only that, but it learns as it goes, so if I step out of the house for some reason, the control device will automatically adjust itself so it doesn’t run the whole time. It monitors its own batteries and air filters, and sends an email message when anything needs to be replaced. It also runs self diagnostics, so it can create an when I need to schedule a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C maintenance appointment, and before too long, this control device will know my preferences so well that I will never have to adjust it again!
