The Heating plus A/C area was on backorder

I had to order an Heating plus A/C area for one of my clients.

The girl purchased a ductless heating system online, however during the installation, the girl broke a piece off the ductless heater, however she called myself and others at the store to see if I had the area in stock, then unblessedly, I rarely carry pieces for ductless heaters.

I told the girl that I could order the piece if she wanted to wait a few days for delivery. The girl seemed excited to find out that I could order the area for the ductless heater. She didn’t mind waiting for the new piece to come. After the girl left my shop, I went online to order the part. I found that particular piece to be out of stock. I called the manufacturer to find out how long it would take to get the part. The girl told myself and others that it was on backorder, but she promised that she could get it shipped out in less than a week. I called the purchaser to tell him about the delayed shipping. She told myself and others that she was going to call around to see if she could find it anywhere else. The next day, I got a call back from the lady. She could not find the item anywhere else, plus she wanted myself and others to order the part. Since the girl had to wait seven days, I decided to split him a split on the fees. I only charged him $10 more than the actual wholesale price for the item. Instead of paying $57 for the part, she only paid $31.
