The HVAC stopped working in the offices

Running a large office wasn’t a piece of cake, but after five years, I had enough experience to keep everything moving forward, and we ran one of the biggest online perfume stores in the world.

Our business consisted of offices and a warehouse where we kept all the inventory.

We had servicing companies that dealt with both locations. That meant we could sign a repair contract to suit the offices and the warehouse. One day, the Heating and A/C system at the office stopped blowing cold air. It was summer, and this caused the offices to get hot. Added to that was unbearably high humidity. I phoned the AC servicing supplier to come and take a look at the cooling unit. They informed me an Heating and A/C worker was on the way to check the system. But, two hours later, we were still waiting for the AC expert to show up. I had to call the aircon repair company again to ask why there was a delay in service. The customer care representative wasn’t truthful with the reason and kept telling me the Heating and A/C worker would be back soon. Three hours later, I was fed up and decided to phone another aircon mechanic to come and fix the situation. The AC expert from this company arrived on time and began working on the AC system. We never heard from the previous one, which meant no one showed up to fix the cooling system. I decided the drop-in repair quality and unprofessionalism was too much, so we cancelled our service contract with them. It was better to give the Heating and A/C repair contract to a supplier both of us could rely on, and from there we never had an issue with bad communication with the aircon repair again.
