The line of traffic was almost five miles long

I woke up bright and early on Monday morning, because I knew it was going to be a long day of HVAC repairs.

I had three repairs on the schedule and one guy off for the day.

I knew the phone would ring all day since it was Monday. As soon as I finished with my shower, I made some eggs with green peppers, onions, cheese, and tomatoes. I ate a couple of pieces of toast with butter and jam. It’s a good thing that I had a big breakfast, because I got stuck in traffic on that particular day. I planned to grab some food from a restaurant on my way to the afternoon HVAC repair, but I was stuck in traffic instead. I couldn’t see the accident or delay, but the line of cars was further than I could see. I sat there for thirty minutes and I barely moved an inch. I decided to call the customer when I realized that I was going to be late for the appointment. The customer didn’t seem upset at all and she told me to take my time and be careful. Sometimes HVAC customers can be very particular about the appointment time. I was happy to hear that she did not mind waiting a little bit longer. The line of traffic was almost 5 miles long and I sat there for 2 hours. I was happy to have plenty of gas in the repair truck, because it was pretty hot that day. The accident kept traffic backed up for a while. Three cars were involved, but thankfully no one was gravely injured.
