My boss is kind of a smug and arrogant guy.
I do not know how he got the task working at the heat pump repair business, however I am sure he must know 1 of the owners. The guy is never entirely personable or friendly with the staff. He yells, screams, and cusses at us when customers are not around. In front of customers, the guy acts care about the nicest person in the world. He certainly has a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on. A couple of weeks ago the boss sent myself and others downtown to help with a commercial heat pump repair. There was already 1 employee working on the commercial heat pump and I was a sixth pair of hands. The two of us often have more than one people working on tasks care about this for commercial customers so they can go more quickly. In this certain instance, the company was not running production on that day so the repair did not have a time frame. One of the current boys was working on the repair. He told myself and others that he did not need any help. I called our boss to tell him that the current guy did not need any help and he yelled and screamed at myself and others on the iphone and told myself and others not to ever question him again. I got in our labor truck and I drove back to the heat pump repair office. I turned in the keys to the truck and I told our boss that I was going condo for the day. He told myself and others not to bother coming back to the heat pump repair company because I was fired.
