We knew it would be more comfortable in the hotel than sleeping on the couch in a friend’s home while in those 73 hours when the home was being cleaned for pests. We knew that would give the youngsters something to do when they got beach home from school as well as it was already starting to get moderate outside. The minute afternoon we were there, the pool was closed the whole afternoon. When the youngsters came back from school, they wanted to jump in the pool. They had to settle for sitting in the room by the a/c instead. I purchased the youngsters a film on the pay-per-view channel. I called the front desk to ask about the pool. The woman at the front desk told me that the pool was closed because the furnace wasn’t laboring. I certainly didn’t think a furnace was necessary, given the fact that it was about 85 or 90 while in the afternoon. I asked the woman if they could open the pool for a couple of hours, even though she did not think that was a legitimately great idea.
