- But there are certain things.
For instance, I am extremely sensitive to my environment and my external stimulation. I often find myself feeling overwhelmed and agitated if conditions are not correct. One of the things that is most upsetting to me is a terrible odor in my environment. If I can’t breathe in lungfuls of fresh, clean air I am a pretty unhappy camper. I do not do well when people use excessive air fresheners, perfume, or deodorant. I really prefer to have an odorless environment if it is at all possible. As such, you can imagine how many air filters I go through in my home Central heating, cooling, and air quality control system. I am always trying to clean and purify my air, starting with my indoor air quality control equipment. I find that my ductwork is particularly prone to containing nasty, unwanted smells that I don’t really want distributed throughout my house. Recently, I went through an enormous battle with my heating, cooling, and air quality control system when I could not remove these terrible smell of mildew from my central cooling unit. Every time my air conditioning system kicked into gear I found myself coughing and sneezing, being completely distracted by the odor, and unable to get back to work. I tried all of my usual air filtration tricks before I finally gave up and called the local heating, cooling, and air quality control repair shop. The certified indoor air quality control technician quickly cleaned out my doctor work and located the source of the mildew. We installed a dehumidification system and the mildew smell was immediately gone.
