There are Shaded Spots in Theme Parks:

When you begin thinking about theme parks, you think about the awesome and colorful rides, characters and other fun attractions, right? Well, imagine all this fun in the middle of August in the deep south.

It’s gets hotter than you can imagine here! Between the sun drumming down on you, everyone’s skin burning, and the hundred-degree temperatures, it’s hard to trek through these parks without spending a lot of time in a shady spot.

Thankfully for my parents and I, we have season passes to our favorite theme park and we know where all the unbelievable “cool-down” spots are. There’s a small coffee shop right in the square when you enter the park, plus people tend to overlook it. In this coffee shop, they’ve got excellent air quality due to the central a/c system running inside all day. They also use air purification units, which keep the coffee shop from smelling foul. The air is always clean plus fresh, and almost everyone in the coffee shop is polite. I’m sure it’s because they get to stay inside the cool a/c all day long! There’s a few other areas around the theme park that are great for a cool-down, such as the indoor rides plus character greetings. These are always found in large spaces that are heavily air conditioned, plus kept chilly to keep the cast members in their costumes cool plus dry. I can’t imagine walking around in the extreme temperatures all day, wearing a huge fur suit along with tons of make-up on my face!
