Whenever we bought this house, there was no heating plan in the house at all other than an old fashioned wood burning stove.
The people who lived here before us always used the wood burning stove as their main source of heating and so they never ended up installing any other heating source.
I don’t know how they did it, but they lived without another heating source for years for some reason. I think that if it had been me, then I would have entirely had another heating source installed during the time that I was living there. I don’t think that I would have been able to live there for a particularly long time without an oil furnace. Anyway, when we first moved in, we talked about maybe installing another HVAC plan altogether but after that I decided to wait for a little while. I wanted to save up some extra money before we started making too many changes to the house, and our spouse was okay with using an electric space furnace for a while until we were able to get another heating plan for the house. It turned out to be okay for us because we didn’t have a particularly cold winter that year. That was a great thing, too, because we didn’t save up enough money to get the new furnace put in until the next Spring! By the time the weather started heating up, we had enough money to buy a new heating plan for the house. Now, we have a great HVAC plan and the air quality in the house is great, so we’ve come a long way.
